OpenG2P at MOSIP Connect 2025

Conversations on enabling efficient delivery of benefits

The OpenG2P team has returned from MOSIP Connect 2025 in Manila, Philippines, with insights and experiences to help us power forward.

The three-day event attended by 450+ participants from 33 countries, celebrated the theme of Convene, Connect, Converse, and Create, and gave us the opportunity to do exactly that. The team spent time with partners and delegates from countries where OpenG2P has a presence and engaged in discussions about what already exists and how we can further our common goal of leveraging technology to enable faster and more efficient delivery of benefits.

The conference began on an exciting note as Prof S Rajagopalan, President MOSIP and OpenG2P launched the OpenG2P Academy - a repository of online, self-learning courses that provides experiential, hands-on learning opportunities. Users can take up quizzes and graded assignments and receive certificates on completion. With a few courses live, and many in the pipeline, OpenG2P Academy aims to familiarise and help people understand our offerings.

The OpenG2P booth at the Solution Discovery area was a perfect way to showcase our offerings and initiate conversations on future engagements with a larger audience.

The unConference at MOSIP Connect 2025 also provided us a platform to have free-flowing conversations on the bigger picture as well as the granular details of how OpenG2P can engage and collaborate with departments and partners. Being in the presence of delegates from across the world helped us gain perspective on use cases, geographical and local differences, and challenges.

We were thrilled to see a full house for our workshop on OpenG2P: Enabling Efficient Delivery of Benefits. It was very encouraging to see the interest and involvement of the participants. This was followed by Country Stories, where country representatives shared their experience working with OpenG2P in their respective contexts. These stories validate our work and commitment and also help other departments and countries explore ways in which OpenG2P’s offerings can add value to their respective scenarios.

Puneet Joshi, CTO, OpenG2P was also part of a panel discussion on Integrating Use Cases: Merits, Challenges, and Insights, where he spoke about how our offerings can integrate with other DPGs in accessing child nutrition benefits. With the help of a specific use case, the panel was able to illustrate how the different DPGs come together to deliver benefits to the end user.

With fruitful conversations and the beginning of some new associations, the experience has inspired us to explore further opportunities to work towards building our ecosystem and enhancing lives through technology.
