OpenG2P at the Digital Pathways for SIDS 2.0 Conference

OpenG2P participated in the Digital Pathways for SIDS 2.0 Conference in Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago from 30 April - 01 May 2024. The conference was aimed at defining a consolidated and coordinated Caribbean position on Digitalization with conversations focused on advancing the digital transformation of Small Island Developing States (SIDS), setting the stage for the upcoming 4th International Conference on SIDS in Antigua and Barbuda. 


Co-Develop hosted a workshop exploring digital infrastructure projects and technical use cases that can be designed and deployed in a short period of time.




Puneet Joshi, Chief Technology Officer, OpenG2P presented the OpenG2P pilot with Philippines’ DSWD underscoring the essence of our partnership with Co-Develop:  accelerating the deployment of OpenG2P’s open-source platform for enabling G2P delivery systems globally.




The conference, organised by the Government of Trinidad & Tobago, Ministry of Digital Transformation, the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), CAF Development Bank, and the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), with the support of the European Union (EU), CARICOM, the United Nations Capital Development Fund (UNCDF), the Association of Caribbean States (ACS), and Co-Develop, was attended by dignitaries from various countries, with the island countries showing great interest in DPGs like OpenG2P. 


We are eager to continue contributing meaningfully to these nations.
