OpenG2P Attends the Launch of the Ateneo and Co-Develop Technical Resource Lab

A centre for research on the Business Insights Laboratory for Development (BUILD)

OpenG2P was invited to the launch event of the Philippine Technical Resource Lab (TRL), an initiative established by the Ateneo de Manila University John Gokongwei School of Management (JGSOM) in collaboration with Co-Develop. The event was graced by the presence of Her Majesty Queen Máxima of the Netherlands and was attended by key partners from both the government and the private sector, as well as other key stakeholders.

The TRL represents a significant step in advancing Digital Public Goods (DPGs) and Digital Public Infrastructure (DPIs) to accelerate the Philippines' digital transformation journey.

The event featured an exhibition showcasing innovative ID-based solutions presented by local Philippine companies, highlighting the country's growing potential in digital technologies.

During the event, Puneet Joshi, Chief Technology Officer of OpenG2P, proposed that the TRL should address the extent of government involvement in defining interoperability layers versus what should be left open to commercial innovation, emphasising the importance of finding the right balance.

OpenG2P is committed to participating in such initiatives and contributing meaningfully to advancing digital transformation.
